Seat Numbers at Schottenstein Center

The seat numbers at the Schottenstein Center follow a standard venue pattern where seat number one is always on the aisle closest to the lower numbered adjacent section. So for example, seat one in section 105 is on the aisle closest to seat 21 in section 104. The amount of seats per section vary greatly expect in sections 104-107 and 121-124, where there are between 20-21 seats per row. It's worth noting that the seats in rows K and lower in the 100 level along the sidelines are temporary seats, as well as rows L and below in the corners and behind the basket for basketball games. The temporary seats are padded folding chairs.

If you're going to be in the nosebleeds, just don't bother going to a show here. I have had a few experiences, the best of which was in GA on the ground for Weezer, Tenacious D and Jimmy Eat World back in 2001 or something stupid like that. That show was a riot, and even being kind of far back on the floor, at least it had the feel of a real show. I've seen a few other events, shows, etc. here from further back and that is a waste. Fine for basketball, probably hockey too, but if it is not your favorite band, I would avoid seeing music here if you can not afford decent tickets.

Where Are The Best Seats at The Schottenstein Center

The best seats for a Buckeyes game at the Schottenstein Center are located in sections 105-106 and 122-123, right at center court. The 200 level sections at mid court are also great seats, and will be priced similarly to the 100 Level sections. The best-value tickets for Ohio State are located behind the baskets and in the corner of the 100 Level. These will be the most reasonably-priced tickets and will still provide nice views of the action.

Concert User Review

Went to the Drake concert here this weekend and had a sick time. The sound was awesome and I know alot of times when bass is up that high it can get distorted but it was clear. We were in the upper bowl but front row which is its own section. Comfortable padded seats and no one behind or in front of you so it really was great. We were far from the stage but it was cool with the lights and everything else to be able to see everything going on. The food lines and bathroom lines were horrible that's the only complaint.
