No service fees. 100% BuyerTrust Guarantee.Built in 1968, Tempe Diablo Stadium is located in Tempe, Arizona and has been home to the Angels since 1993. Renovated in 2005, Tempe Diablo Stadium now holds 9,500 people and is conveniently located minutes from the airport and major highways with easy access to and from downtown Phoenix. Since the renovation, the Angels have extended their lease through 2025, making Tempe Diablo Stadium their Cactus League home for the years to come.
Two paved parking lots sit on opposite sides of the stadium, however, the 1,300 plus spaces fill up quickly leaving the next option to park in one of the office complexes across the street from the stadium. Both stadium lots have handicapped parking available to those with permits.
The Angels dugout can be found on the first base side in front of sections 16-17. The visitors bench is on the third base side in front of sections 5-6.
The Angels bullpen is located behind the right field wall which unfortunately makes it inaccessible to fans. The visitor's bullpen is located in foul territory down the left field line.
Unfortunately there are not many seats in the shade at Tempe Diablo Stadium due to the ballpark being roofless. The few seats you might be able to find with shade sit on the first base side, in rows W and up in sections 10-12 and rows U and up in sections 13-22. As the sun moves during the day, rows P and up in sections 10-14 and rows T and up in sections 15-22 are typically shaded by 2:30 PM.
Rows A-D in sections 7-15 are located in the Homeplate MVP area and are some of the best seats in Tempe Diablo Stadium, close to the field and in between both team dugouts behind home plate. Two suites are available by the press box house and combined can hold about 50 people. The Bud Patio Upper Pavilion provides great views of the field and includes a free buffet when sitting in this section.
A few seats are slightly obstructed because of the player tunnels cut into the grandstand. These seats are in section 7 row M seats 1-4 and section 15 row M seats 9-13. Be cautious of grandstand seats in sections 23-24 as views can be obstructed by fans in the field box sections who stand when players exit the game.
