Seat Numbers

The SAP Center seat numbers are standard to most stadium venue???s in that seat number 1 is closest to the lower numbered section. For example, seat number 1 in Section 114 is going to be on the aisle closest to Section 113. Floor sections have rows up to 14 seats, lower level section have rows up to 24 seats, and upper level sections have rows up to 29 seats.The seat numbers in the 100 level are primarily from 1 to 25, and from 1 up to 20 in the 200 level.

The SAP Center at San Jose, formerly known as the San Jose Arena, Compaq Center at San Jose, and HP Pavilion at San Jose, is located in San Jose, California. The German software company, SAP, purchased the naming rights back in 2013 and is home to the San Jose Sharks of the NHL and the San Jose Barracuda of the AHL. Since the arena was funded back in the 1980???s, the SAP Center hosts 175 events annually from concerts, hockey games, WWE, and more recently upcoming, the 2017 NCAA Mens Basketball tournament. Depending on the event, the 450,000 square foot venue can host upwards to 19,000 people.

What are the Best Seats at the SAP Center?

If you are a fan of the home team attending a hockey game, then you are going to want to purchase seats towards sections 107-109. If you are attending a basketball game, then you are going to want to purchase tickets between sections 114-116, and opposite in sections 101, 102, and 128. If you are looking in the upper level, then sections 214-216 and opposite sections 201, 202, and 228.
