Six-time All-Star infield Jim Fregosi's #11 is retired by the team, as is Hall of Fame infielder and 18-time All-Star Rod Carew's #29. Hall of Fame pitcher and all-time strikeout leader Nolan Ryan's #30 is also retired by the Angels. Former 2nd baseman who only had a few years in the majors as a player, but served as a coach for the Angels for 22 years until he was 92 years old also had his #50 retired by the organization.
