Retractable Roof

The retractable roof at Lucas Oil Stadium boasts the largest opening of all current and planned NFL Stadiums with retractable roofs. The Colts determine if the roof is to be opened or closed 90 minutes before kickoff. The roof remains open unless precipitation or lightning is within the vicinity of the stadium, the temperature drops below 40 °F (4 °C), or wind gusts are greater than 40 miles per hour (64 km/h), in which case the roof operators will close the roof. Once the roof is closed, it may not be reopened.

Note, the 100s sections along the sidelines typically begin with row 1 and end with row 23. The 100 sections on the corners end in row 25, and the 100 sections in the end zone in row 35. On average, the 200s sections begin at row 1 and end at row 12. In the 300s sections the first row is usually 1 and the last row is 4. The 400s sections follow the same pattern as the 300 sections expect for the sections in the end zone, which end at row 22. The 600s sections typically begin with row 1 and end with row 20.

""I have to start this review by explaining that i am a season ticket holder and come here regularly for the Colts games. With that said, this is one of the best stadiums in the country. The layout of the stadium makes it extremely easy to get in and get right to your seats from many entrances. They have escalators, ramp systems and stairs that allow you to easily get up and down the levels. Even after a game when 60k+ people are trying to leave, you can get out within 5 minutes. Inside the stadium is just breathtaking. The architectural design is wonderful and the layout of the space was done very well. The sound system during games is great and when the weather is nice and they open up the roof and north window it is amazing. There aren't too many seats in the stadium that are bad. Even if you do have seats that are not the best the jumbo screens are big, bright and in perfect locations to make up for bad viewing angles.

Colts Bench

The Indianapolis Colts bench is located in front of sections 137-143, and the visitors bench is located in front of sections 110-116.

Club Seats

The club seats at Lucas Oil Stadium are located in between the 20 yards lines in the 100 to 400 sections spanning from sections 11-15 and 38-42. Club level seating includes amenities and privileges including: Extra leg room, access to Advantage Club and Faegre Baker Daniels Club Lounges, nearly 100 HD televisions with NFL Sunday Ticket, made to order food stations, access to VIP entrances, full service bar, and discounts at the Colts Pro Shop.

Best Seats

Although the best seats for Indianapolis Colts game are subjective, anything between the 30 yard lines are great seats. For the best view at Lucas Oil Stadium, you want to sit above the 10th row in sections 111 to 115 and 138 to 142 so you have enough elevation to see the plays develop.
