The Pirates' bullpen is located behind the fence in right field while the visitors bullpen is located behind the fence in left field.
Because of the roofs that cover the grandstand sections, there are poles that can partially obstruct your view. If there is an obstruction it will be noted in the listing. The seats in sections 19-22 are not pointed towards home plate, which can be a bit of pain when you are straining your neck to face the action.
There is a small grass field beyond left field but space is limited. Most patrons resort to parking in the neighborhood as businesses and homeowners offer their space to park in for the same price the stadium charges or cheaper.
McKechnie Field is located in Bradenton, Florida and is the spring training home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Baseball has been played here since 1923, making it the oldest spring training field in the Grapefruit League. It has a capacity of 8,500, with both stadium seating and bleacher seating.
There is plenty of shade to go around at McKechnie Field. Sections 8-12 are always shaded, as well as sections 7-11 above row 5. The left field bleachers face the sun, which can leave you having the sun in your eyes for the majority of the game. If you sit above row 8 you will be shielded from the sun.
