For example the Super Seats (sections H, J1 and G1) are the only promenade seats that are not wood benches, so these are definitely the best seats in the promenade section. History and Overview

Opening in the summer of 1922, the Hollywood Bowl is one of the oldest outdoor amphitheaters in the country. The venue is located just outside Los Angeles, as the famous "Hollywood" sign can be seen high above the stage. The 17,500 seat amphitheater was renovated in 2003-2004, as the band shell was replaced with a new shell that helped improve acoustics. One of the most famous outdoor amphitheaters in the country, the Hollywood Bowl has hosted numerous artist over the past several decades, including being featured in films and TV shows with the venue being located right in Hollywood.

2301 North Highland Avenue, right off the Hollywood Freeway. Note, Hollywood Bowl Parking is very limited. It is recommended to take advantage of the Park and Ride locations or Shuttle Bus lots. If you do drive allow 30 minutes before the concert is scheduled to start.

The Hollywood Bowl seating chart is one of the most confusing venue floorplans out there. When you look at the seating map, you can make sense of the pattern, yet when you try to articulate what is going on, it's difficult. Many sections just have seats that are even or odd numbers (thus seats 1 and 3 would be next to each other or 2 and 4). However, there are sections (such as F2, K2, L2, P2 etc.) that go from seat 101 to 102 all the way to 116; in these cases the higher the seat number the closer you will be to the center of the stage.
