Mapfre Stadium Overview

Located in Columbus, Ohio and home to the Columbus Crew of the MLS, Mapfre Stadium is the first soccer-specific stadium built in the United States. Opening in 1999, Mapfre Stadium has a capacity of just over 20,000 for soccer and can hold up to 30,000 for concerts. As the first soccer-specific stadium in the U.S., Mapfre Stadium began the movement for more to be built across the country. The stadium has hosted two MLS All-Star Games, matches for the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup, and numerous other matches for both the Men's and Women's U.S. National teams.

Mapfre Stadium Premium Seating

There are three options when it comes to premium seating at Mapfre Stadium. Scotts Field Seats give fans the opportunity to sit right on the field just feet away from players. These VIP seats include a complimentary pre-match buffet and drink service as well. The Center Circle seats are located behind the team benches at midfield and offer VIP parking and chances for exclusive events. Seats in the Premier East section are also located at midfield and give fans a great view of the pitch.

Mapfre Stadium (Formerly Columbus Crew Stadium) Supporters Section

The supporters section at Mapfre Stadium is located in section 141, which houses the Hudson Street Hooligans, as they call themselves (the name is for the street that runs adjacent to the stadium). This section is self-advertised as "an adult section" and tends to get pretty rowdy, so keep that in mind if you're considering buying tickets in this section for any matches.

The Crews bench is in front of sections 127/128 and the visitors bench is in front of sections 124/125.
