Best Seats

The best seats for any Detroit Lions game at Ford Field are located closest to the 50 yard line in sections 105-107 or 126-128. When sitting along the sideline you want to make sure you sit above row 10, as this will give you enough height to see the plays develop from all spots on the field. Tickets near mid field in the 200 level are a great option as well, but in these sections you want to be as close to row one as possible.

Lions Bench

The Detroit Lions bench is located in front of sections 104-108, and the visitors bench is located in front of sections 125-129.

"What a great stadium Detroit has. My favorite part is that it is a dome that doesn't quite feel like one. The perfect way to watch a game in December! Its clean and has tons of good food options, even for a veggie like me! The drink menus are pretty good as well. Very little of the typical light beers; instead there are tons of micro brews and even mixed drinks in certain areas. Plus, you cant beat the prices for tickets. They are quite reasonable compared to other stadiums. Check it out yourself!"

History and Overview

Ford Field is an indoor football stadium located in downtown Detroit, Michigan, and is home to the NFL's Detroit Lions. The original plans were to have the stadium be an outdoor venue to pair with Comerica Park, but ultimately Detroit decided against it. Ford Field has a maximum capacity of 70,000 for football, and can seat up to 78,000 for basketball. Unlike most indoor venues, Ford Field allows for plenty of natural light to reach the field thanks to immense skylights and large glass windows.
